A Little Early for Vermont Foliage Season

I’m not sure if I expected there to be much foliage at the end of September, but if I did I was a little disappointed. Nevertheless, it was a lovely day in Vermont, though I guess a lot different than trips I’ve taken here in the last few years.

More pictures and more text later. For now, I’ll be reading Huck Finn and planning my next weekend excursion…

You’ve reminded me why I so very much enjoyed growing up in Montreal: this amazing state was a short drive away, and it never failed to inspire me. Amazing how simply being in a place can rejuvenate the soul.
